Topsoe's subsidiary in Malaysia was established in 2010 to cover the company's increasing activities in South East Asia & Pacific. The office covers all Topsoe business areas and serves as the prime contact to clients in South East Asia & Pacific.

The office covers the following tasks:

• promotion and marketing of Topsoe catalysts and technologies to local clients within ammonia production, methanol production, hydrogen production, synthesis gas production, sulphuric acid production, refinery hydroprocessing and environmental protection
• coordination of Topsoe after sales services to clients in South East Asia & Pacific
• introduction of newly developed catalysts/ technologies to the different industries in the area
