Topsoe's subsidiary in Argentina was established in 2008 to cover the company's increasing activities in Latin America. The office covers all Topsoe business areas and serves as the prime contact to clients in Latin America and the Spanish speaking part of the Caribbean.

The office covers the following tasks

• promotion and marketing of Topsoe catalysts and technologies to local clients within ammonia production, methanol production, hydrogen production, synthesis gas production, sulphuric acid production, refinery hydroprocessing and environmental protection
• coordination of Topsoe after sales services to clients in Latin America
• introduction of newly developed catalysts/ technologies to the different industries in the area
