Haldor Topsoe A/S acquires unique furnace monitoring technology

Haldor Topsoe A/S has signed an agreement with Increase Performance Inc. to acquire full ownership of the Furnace Manager Technology. The acquisition will be an important expansion of the technology and service offering to Topsoe’s global client base.

The Topsoe Furnace Manager technology is a novel tube temperature monitoring system and flame monitoring system, which allows continuous monitoring of the interior of furnaces 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This technology allows customers to optimize operational efficiency, while intelligent controls and warnings allow corrective action, thereby avoiding damage of equipment. The monitoring system allows the furnace to be operated without accessing the furnace, improving safety of personnel and equipment.

The Topsoe Furnace Manager technology complements Topsoe expertise in providing industry leading proprietary technologies.
