    The Senior Leadership Team is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. It observes the recommendations, guidelines, and decisions issued by the Board of Directors, and makes sure there is timely reporting and information for our shareholders, the board and other stakeholders.    

    The Senior Leadership Team also submits and recommends proposals for our overall strategy, objectives and policies to the board, as well as being responsible for implementing them.    

    Amy Chiang

    Chief Sustainability and External Affairs Officer 

    Amy Chiang is Topsoe’s Chief Sustainability and External Affairs Officer. As a part of Topsoe’s Senior Leadership Team, she oversees both the company’s external efforts to accelerate the energy transition and its internal sustainability strategy. Amy’s leadership responsibilities span Sustainability, Public Affairs, Product Stewardship, Communications and Branding, and Public-Private Partnerships.   

    For more than 25 years, Amy has been a leading expert in aligning public policy, business strategy and innovation to help drive the energy transition. Working in both the public and private sectors, she has built enduring partnerships and forged working relationships that have helped shape global policy changes and business strategies that have been the foundation of progress over the last few decades.   

    Amy served as Director of International Affairs in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, where she guided efforts around creating breakthrough international agreements. She was Deputy Chief of Staff to U.S. Representative Sherwood Boehlert and a professional staff member in the House Science Committee.   

    She spent more than a decade in the private sector, leading global government relations strategy in areas including sustainability, climate change, global trade and technology. In addition, she has worked in management consulting and on Wall Street as a currency derivatives trader.    

    Amy earned a B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an International MBA (IMBA) from the University of Chicago.
